Ground Development Fund (GDF) – update
« on: April 12, 2021, 05:49:05 PM »
The Blue and Gold Supporters' Trust was pleased to present the football club with a cheque for £3,635.08 last week to support The Linnets in the work they have undertaken in recent months to improve facilities inside the ground in accordance with ground grading requirements.

The monies were made available to the football club from donations made through the Trust's Ground Development Fund (GDF). This is the second occasion that the Trust has been able to assist the club via the GDF scheme following the donation of £4,200 which helped the football club with the purchase of new turnstiles following its promotion to the National League North from the Southern League Central Division nearly two years ago.

The latest monies donated have assisted the football club with the purchase of a First Aid Unit, which has been installed at the Seven Sisters/Hospital End of the stadium, close to the entrance to the club room.

The Blue and Gold Supporters' Trust wishes to thank all those who donated towards the Ground Development Fund initiative.

Great news that the club have sorted out what they wanted the GDF to go towards and well done to all the fans who contributed to help making the Walks compliant for the level we are now at.  Hopefully more fundraising can be co-ordinated as and when additional works are required.

Good work! Well done Supporters Trust and KLTFC for moving this forward. With all the ego’s, bravado and posturing it’s pleasing to see fans and club work together publicly. COYL 💙💛💙💛

Well done to all concerned.  I long for improved terraces behind both goals, with cover at one end, and a return of the terraces that used to be between the end of the Main Stand, and the corner flag at the Hospital End. But I didn’t contribute to the GDF because I thought it had got stuck !  Not a hypocrite, however, as I stuck my £ 300 in to the general fund, and will do again.  We have to keep this club improving on all fronts...
