Just watched the teams ( Leicester and Chelsea) to walk out to fans greeting them.  How good it that look and feel.

As for Lynn’s nightmare.  Nearly over now.  I’m sure SC , IC and all those involved will breath a huge sigh of relief.

Think we need to give the players credit today apart from the mad 10 minutes we were always in the game.Bad luck with the chances cleared from Gash and Carey and we could easily have got something from the game. Thought Howard was excellent.

I don't suppose I will get many plaudits for this post, but I think the club as a WHOLE,  have conducted themselves admirably this season, considering the circumstances enforced upon them. I can't think of any hierarchy that we have had in the past who would have done any better. Hopefully the club will come through this and next season we will be up there with the "Big Boys" and the learning taken from this season will set us in good stead for next season. Upwards and onwards.

The only things the club will have to show for this disaster of a season is the break up of the Championship winning squad and a huge debt that will hang around its neck for years to come.

So one positive and one negative then


Another positive is that Lynn get a second go at trying to establish themselves in the NL.......in a normal season with 4 going down, Lynn would have been one of the four, starting off with a squad nowhere near good enough for this league and then effectively replacing their long established keeper for someone who was just passing through and then losing the way mid season.

Hopefully alot has been learnt along the way this season, not least of all IC confirming how he wants to set the squad up. It's also given another twelve months to lookat the income streams and how they can be improved.

On Mallard’s Cup Final point, I shared his enjoyment, apart from the Neanderthals who booed the taking of the knee, and the commentator trying to talk louder to hide it.

I was a Fox for the day Dilly.  What a goal to win it, then the drama of VAR at the end.   First time I’ve watched a Cup Final in many a year.  You could see at the end how much it meant to Leicester.
