The Walks main stand has finally got a sponsor.   Well done to Mark Hearle.

There's some very generous people out there.

It can’t be Malcolm as this person has never seen a game at the Walks.   Malcolm hasn’t missed a game in years

Not the first such benefactor that Lynn have benefited from recently... wonderful that there are such people about.......... be great now if the club could find a few new significant business sponsorships to really help propel things forward.

Certainly would KES.  IC could then have a decent budget to put a new squad together to compete away from the relegation scrap.

Let’s hope for a sell out for these last two games followed by a high take up of the season ticket offer when that becomes available.  Factor in all that money from the gov loan and the Club should be well set to kick off the new season

Great News. Thank you, whoever you are.

Now, what should we call the Stand  :dontknow:

I suggest: The Mick Wright Stand.

Is that the plan?

An anonymous sponsor donates 25k but specifies it has to be for the Stand sponsorship, so supporters can choose what the Stand is called?

I only ask as I thought it a bit strange that it was an anonymous sponsor, but they were specifying what the money was for. If their name isn't appearing on the Stand, I couldn't understand why the Stand was involved instead of it just being a general donation.

I understand now.

Great idea Mike. I'm all for it!

Fantastic idea that Mike.  If the Sponsor would allow it.  Then again why not as they want to sponsor it but don’t want any involvement in using their name on it.

The only other idea I would throw in the mix is The NHS Stand

Either one would generate a lot of interest.

One locally, one Nationally, if marketed correctly.

I'm sure the Commercial department will be on to it.

It is long overdue for the club to honour, arguably, its greatest servant, Mick Wright. I believe it was to be considered at the time of Mick’s passing that a fitting tribute would be made. Naming the stand after him would be an excellent idea. Hopefully the club and the mystery sponsor can agree.

What about a competition for Name The Stand with a small donation per entry

Nice idea Mr Hill. If "The Mick Wright Stand" were to win, as I personally feel it should, maybe WNBC could be encouraged to donate the cost of a really good quality, long lasting name plate for the stand.
