Yes...  Congrats to Sutton United.  And also congrats to Hornchurch foe winning the FA Trophy !  They were better than us in that tie.

With a clutch of Ex League Clubs chasing that one golden ticket how refreshing to see an unfashionable Club making it into the Football League.

Sutton this season.  Harrogate ( via the play-offs) last season.   Any suggestion for next season ? :mystic:
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Interesting isn't it Mall.

Loads of pressure on the big clubs to get back to the big time...just as there was on York in the NLN.

If a non fashionable club is to prevail, it will need a really good start to the season and as such clubs will have rebuilt extensively over the summer, some decent friendlies against tough opposition will be required, in order to hit the ground running.

Next season will see 12 (?) Ex League teams ( 1 more than this season) battling for 2 places back in the Football League.   Seemingly once you hit the Non League scene it’s a tough crawl back for many.  Salford, Harrogate and now Sutton have shown it’s possible to finish ahead of these financially well supported Clubs.

Money is a vital ingredient but it’s not the whole story.

For sure they had big backing KES but they had to spend big off the field as well.
