Gash & Jarvis leaving at end of season

Gash and Jarvis can't commit to Lynn next season

Would just like to thank them both, some of the football that has been played during their time is probably the best ever witnessed at the Walks and both lads have more than played their part in the club's rise to the NL but squads change over time and neither is getting any younger.  Best of luck to them both, wherever they end up next year

No surprise at all.

As Tony has said, thanks to both of them and wish them well with whatever they decide to do next.

Sorry to see these two go, they will both rank in King’s Lynn Towns hall of fame. They have been stalwarts for the Club and helped to get us in the position we are. All the best for the future lads and thanks.

Big thanks to these two lads.   Been immense for the team.  Like all things time stands still for no man.

One interesting point from both was their inability to commit next season to the changing requirements of the Club.   Factor in SC stating a few weeks back that he was considering going full time and the costs of taking this massive step.

Looks like that step is being taken.   Full time to compete with the rest of the League.  Does that crank up the expectation level ?

These guys were forefront in the back to back promotions and much of the on field successes at the club. For that I'd like to say a big thank you and good wishes for the future

Michael Gash has given his heart and soul to King's Lynn Town FC. His total commitment is evident as he chases every ball, either forward or in midfield and also at the back defending Free Kicks and Corners. At first I thought he was not as good as Big Jack Defty. However, he has certainly proved me (and others I am sure) wrong - Gashy is far quicker than Jack and just as effective in holding, laying off and scoring.

Ryan Jarvis has been quietly the most effective midfielder we have ever had. His higher level experience shows every time he dons the Lynn shirt. Everything calms down when he has the ball and this allows the others to re-group either in defence or attack.

We are going to miss these players but, as others have said, we must move on as time stands still for no man.

Thank you both for the football you have given.

I had hoped that both would still be there next season as they have both been massive for getting us where we are today, but age and the clubs pursual of full time football clearly having a bearing and I look forwards to applauding them today. They leave some pretty big boots to fill. :scarf: :scarf:

For sure Gash and Jarv ( in their prime at the club) will be missed.   We have our memories now it’s time for those players and the club to make new memories.  Like nearly all things in Football, time moves on.

Big thanks to the two senior members of the squad.  Let’s look forward to seeing who is coming through the door in readiness for next season.
