Great minds think alike Mall.......I was posing myself that very question earlier this evening.

I think probably yes, if the price was right.

We are going to need a couple of new dynamic strikers I reckon, as first choices, but then need at least a couple of back ups who are perhaps more experienced. So I am thinking perm 2 out of Gash, Southwell and Jackson and A Another, as back ups

First priority must be to get a solid defence that can handle NL forwards.....

but we also need a better conversion ratio upfront than Gash, Marriott and Southwell were achieving pre furlough. Tough call who to go for........Gash a great servant and hold up player, Southwell has age on his side, Jackson has played at a far higher level, seems sharp at this level and has shown the commitment of almost playing for free when the club was in need

I don't think Southwell will be happy playing second fiddle again and may leave.......think I would then def consider Jackson as one of the backups/ first change strikers

I have a hunch that whoever starts up front for us in August will be players not presntly linked to the club at all. Over 30 and formerly of league 1/2 clubs.

Not simply being controversial, but Jarvis wasn’t my thing, at least nowadays.  Opponents had too many nipsters that leave “sitting” players standing.  Hunting down someone to tackle can’t be much help when the opponent on the ball avoids him or passes the ball.  And the Gash-game was more suited to the W-formation !  I appreciated the work both did, however, but we need more speed off the Mark over short distances, IMHO.  Can’t comment yet on the new lad, and will check on YouTube, but I’m not hugely impressed with his CV ....  Any news of King ?

Not sure I’m with you Dilly on that one.   Last nights Champions League final had one team who played with sitting player in front of its defence the other went without that luxury and played a very attack minded midfield.

Result ?  Pep has gone on his hols
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Mick, feel sure S Cleeve said on a recent live stream that Rory mcAuley and Kyle McFadden were contracted for next season.

With Gash and Jarvis both leaving, hopefull that Simion Jackson is signed for next season to add the required experience and know how to next seasons squad.

Got a gut feeling that King and Jones will both be released due to ongoing injury problems, hence the latest signing could be earmarked for the right back slot.
