I've just had a look on clubs website to see if I could find the membership form, so I could post a link to it on the forum.

I can't say for definite that its not on the club's site, but if it is I couldn't find it.

Can you look into it please? If you can find a link and forward it to me I'll pin it at the top of the forum for a few days to see if that helps with your recruitment drive.

I know for a fact that you are going to get at least two new members as soon as they can get access to the membership form.

Well I have just googled the friends to find out what their objectives and modus operandi are.........I did ask Malcolm on here, but he wanted my fiver first ha ha ! However, I take no offense and look forward to chatting to see if I might be able to help in some way

Has the full committee now been formed ?  As in 3 officials and 9 committee members ?  Also do you run with a Vice Chair, and if not what happens when you aren’t available ?

No there is room for 3 more with one pending so Iam getting there no there is no vice chair but it’s a good idea and we will appoint one

If its called friends of the Linnets supporters club which is fotlsc.Adding SC to the name seems about right from what I understand they are trying to do at the moment.A fresh lick of paint on the surface and off you go.No different to throwing a few seeds and sand on the pitch and claiming its all been dug up and reseeded by professionals.

Nikki, nothing was changed or added to the name at the AGM.  Just curious as to what you 'understand they are trying to do at the moment'.  As I said, nothing was changed in the name or constitution, so no fundamental changes although hopefully with a refreshed committee we can see FotL raising their profile across the fanbase and generating some funds for the club.

Will the funds raised by FOTL be for the benefit of the Club AND THE FANS?.  I’m sure there are several projects which could meet that criteria.   Or is the idea just to blindly hand over cash to the owner to spend on wages etc at the Club ?
