At a AGM all positions are open.to be voted on I would assume the secatary will have the advertising in hand and yes all yearly accounts wil be.available on the night and yes there will be an agenda yes I will be standing for the Chairman position that’s if Iam nominated
The committee needs 3 officers and 9 members and all rules wil be adered on the night I hope this answers all your questions

Malcolm, thanks for the update.  Would still like a bit more information on what you yourself describe as "very important decisions" if that is to include changing the FotL to a Supporters Club.

Thanks again Malcolm.

Who are the current committee members?

Do you know if they will they be seeking re-election to their positions?

It would seem that the Chairman is not seeking re-election as Malcolm is prepared to take on that role.  I’m sure Malcolm can get a decent team together to take The Friends forward.

Who is/was Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Tony M the changing off the name is the big one and in my opinion is the way forward

Presumably what is being proposed is more than mere window dressing (changing the name) but is in fact a reset of what the organisation is there to do and how it goes about it?  I would guess there is a need to consider which bits of the Constitution are no longer applicable or need amendment and what additions would be necessary to facilitate the change in operation?

Out of interest, can you say what you think is currently wrong with the FotL and what positives would arise from this change in name for the future?

I’m sure Malcolm that most if not all will wish you well with your stewardship of the FOLT.  Many on here will offer any help or support we can.

It’s plainly obvious that you have the well being of the club as your no 1 priority.   A true supporter of all things Kings Lynn Town FC.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?
