Season ticket
« on: June 24, 2021, 08:34:04 AM »
Looking forward to the coming season. Anyone know when it  will be possible to buy a season ticket. Will it possible to visit the ground, speak with a human being and select a seat rather than have to do everything on line. Come on you Linnets!

Have prices for season tickets, and tickets in general, been released for next season?  Saw the press release today that the £35 membership is being continued into 2021-22 offering priority ticketing which may have a bit more relevance with (potentially) limited crowds for at least some of the coming season.

Is that possible under league rules?

I thought visiting fans have to have the opportunity to buy tickets at the same price and conditions as home fans. Is that correct?

Away supporters are hardly likely to buy Membership for another Club.

 Just asking. :dontknow:

It’s possible, so long as their is a proportion (at least 10%) set aside for away fans, as is the case with segregated games.

I think.

10.3 Sale of tickets for away supporters - "Clubs are required to sell tickets for their away matches if required to do so by the Home Club and Home Clubs are required to supply tickets for their home matches to the Away Club for sale by the Away Club to its supporters if so requested by the Away Club. These tickets are to be made available on a sale or return basis and must be ordered by the Away Club at least five weeks before the Competition match to which they relate. The Home Club must deliver those tickets to the Away Club at the latest four weeks before the Competition match to which they relate. Where any match is arranged at shorter notice the above steps shall be taken as soon as is reasonably practicable. Visiting supporters should also have the same opportunity to take advantage of pre-booking discounts that apply to home supporters.
For League matches only the Away Club shall be entitled to a commission representing five (5) per cent of the aggregate sales (exclusive of VAT) of tickets sold on behalf of the Home Club, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs. The Away Club shall submit a VAT invoice, in respect of the commission due, to the Home Club within five working days of the match taking place".

I wonder if our Supporters buy their away tickets via our Box office, or if they go directly to the other club (or pay on the day).   :dontknow:

I would have thought the vast majority would pay at the away ground.
However, going forward with possible restrictions on crowd numbers,it would make sense to have your ticket in hand, before setting off for a Stockport or Torquay I guess.

And 5% commission goes to the Club.

Every little helps.

So back to the original, with so many clubs announcing season ticket prices that give a good deal for the fans, what will be announced for King's Lynn? :dontknow:
Perhaps a lunatic was simply a minority of one.

After the 19th July I understand.   The date of the final release from Gov restrictions.  I guess the Club doesn’t want to take money in case they are not fully lifted.  Also if there will be Limited Numbers in terms of admission then maybe the price will reflect that.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?
