I heard that a couple of volunteers were tending to it at the moment.

So is the "wild" part of my garden. The thistles are doing particularly well this year.   :laughcry:

The pitch is in very good order , there has been upto 3/4 inc of grass on it and a very
good covering, and there are also groundmen doing a good job on it . all in good hands.
Why on earth don't of you who are commenting on the pitch go and have a look, its feel
no charge.

No need for me to travel from central Norwich to The Walks, just to look at the pitch A47
, when you can give me such a generous and friendly update.

It matters not what the fans think of the pitch.  As long as IC is happy with the playing surface then that’s all that matters.    He wants to play a certain brand of Football and for that he needs an even smooth surface.  Having loads of grass on it is all well and good but it needs to be right for the players to have the confidence in it.

Let’s see come October/November.

47, as for there being no charge to look at it.  Well there’s a first time for everything.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

If Steve Curtis has now retired, he may have some spare time on his hands.

Could he not be persuaded to act as a consultant (avoiding the physical work) to the Volunteers?

If it worked and all parties were on board with it, it coukd  keep the cost down by not having to employ a groundsmam  :dontknow:

According to the club statement with regard to tickets, TH ground services are looking after the pitch albeit on a temporary basis. :scarf: :scarf:

Unfortunately, that is apparently often the case.

I’m sure when SC gets in a muddle with the pitch then Steve will get the call.  This professional firm have to be given the opportunity to create a surface that meets with IC’s approval
