Johnson and his entourage need to either step down or be removed.... completely out of their depth and no sense of "the greater good".

In this country, the alternative to Johnson and his crew is truly terrifying!

Doesn’t need to be the other side change comes from, there’s growing back bench dissent to Johnson, and they’re the ones who did for May. If this unlocking goes derričre over elbow, you could see Johnson being replaced by his own party with someone dull but fairly competent seeming to try and win back trust over a winter of restrictions, like Raab, Sunak, Clark or Leadsom. A swing back towards the centre in preparation for the next election, now that there isn’t a Brexit party flanking them to the right.

And in reminding myself this is a football forum, has their been attendance figures given out for the two friendlies?

I’ve heard the figure of 1,600 for the Norwich game, Loughbro’. I do hope our team can compete well this season, because I genuinely think we could be amongst the very best attended teams.  Big crowds are easily imaginable, as long as we’re competitive.  Then we would really take off, because money talks alright !

Surely the club would look to make inroads into the large debts it has now, before putting it all into getting to the Football League?  :countingmoney:

No insult intended re tribal mentality. B & G....
At the end of the day we are all "friends" on here in my book, even if we do have differing, strong views from time to time. I can honestly say I have no strong sense of support for any of the political parties in the UK presently......so I look more towards an individual's abilities of being straight forward, honest, in control, able to handle pressure and criticism, consistent, able to command respect of fellow national leaders and politicians and the public and having genuine concern for quality of life in the country and the expertise and nous to pull it all off.
However, I do think it's true to say that some people don't readily see an individual politician's failings in full, because they have a long standing belief that the party the individual represents is the best option.

If I'm reading your previous posts correctly, I think (only think) you may have me down as some kind of staunch Tory supporter.

If so, that's completely wrong, and nothing could be further from the truth.

Could we have (i.e be allowed) to have that many? I thought I had read somewhere that we were limited to 25% capacity.

If so, wouldn't that have restricted us to nearer the 1200 mark?   :dontknow:

With how the Club has been financed over previous seasons, taking into account who owns some of the major creditor(s), and with all the money that has been granted/loaned to the Club recently (The Club, not an individual), would that actually be a good idea at the moment?   :dontknow:

I would think that happened a long time ago.
