Most important signing could yet be someone to give him the license/protection to play....I wonde if Fernandez might perform that role as the season develops

I don’t believe the “protecting” role actually exists.  And, Mall, of course I don’t expect players to be the data card of Premier players, but the game at our level still has the same differentials, so we do need the Foden of this world, albeit not as good, but nor are the defenders they will be up against.  Even village teams have the odd player who rounds the lunks quite easily…..  Getting closer, but, so, I suspect, is the dreaded virus…..

Sitting in my seat I was impressed by Morias the Weeble who wobbles but you can't knock him down. Strong fella.

Gold ran around a lot, making himself available but not getting the service to see what he might be capable of.

Cameron King? If he can keep fit he is equal or better that Sonny Carey. Just give him the space and he will make things happen.

Michael Gyasi? Slippery but takes on to many. AFC BNournemouth used to have a similar player back in the 70's - Greedy Groves. Head down and run into a brick wall!

I aqm not sure about our best set-up at the back. Aaron Jones is needed at R Back/Wing. Who is going to be our L side defender/wing attack? No one sprngs to mind yet.

Denton I would assume WLM.   The starting 11 is starting to take shape. Still need a bit more strength in depth to the squad.
