Reading that last night attendance was under 400.   Thats disappointing for the visit of a League Club.

Good to hear that Norwich is a sell out for Friday night. Why the big difference ?

My guess is that Norwich will be bringing a good number of supporters.

400 hundred is pretty good for a friendly. Trouble is the price wasn't friendly.

Bury Town pulled in 645 for a game at Ram Meadow for a game v Ipswich youth.

Can it be all down to the cost.  The prices for Norwich are higher and that’s a sell out.

I think now that Lynn are at NL level, there are names as big as MK Dons every week. People would rather save their denarii for games that matter.

I also think the club need to improve their connection with the fans........ it's just dribbles of information here and there, very few new fan initiatives, limited squad info, nothing from the Chairman for yonks ...  ......    ...until its time to pay for a match, programme, parking space, merchandise etc. You really do have to work hard in all areas.....the commercial side, the fan base .....and player recruitment. I have to say, I really don't feel fully engaged with the club at the moment....infact it is only this Forum with the info and banter that gives me any real connection at all

On that point KES. I just listened to a 7 min plus interview on Twitter from Russell Martin on last nights game.

When was the last interview for the fans done by the Manager ?  Feel we had better PR when we were playing at step 5.

Who is even head of media these days ?

Backtrack  from me as IC has done an interview with the EDP’s Chris Lakey which is up on  their website.   Followed by one with Russell Martin who talks in glowing terms about IC and Cameron King.

I guess Chris Lakey is effectively taking on the role of Head of Media for us, by simply fulfilling his EDP remit. Maybe that makes sense, as IC seems reasonably comfortable talking to him.

Nice to see IC doing an interview. Hopefully many more to come  during the season.

I wonder why the Chairman didn't get involved. He's not usually one to miss such an opportunity.

I suppose he's a busy man at the moment.
