Ah so Mall.........well that explains that one.

In future IMO it should be the media department doing all the necessary club related tweets....mind you they need to start being a bit more prolific.

Not at all appropriate for a Chairman to get caught up in those sorts of exchanges on a social media platform......but that's the problem with social media... it's out there for everyone to see, posts can easily be done in the heat of the moment and things can escalate rapidly.

I am sure SC will convey his considered thoughts about our club through the programme notes in the future and they will be a good read.

GS I said you MAY find it acceptable.  Only you know the answer to that one.  Then again you MAY NOT find it acceptable.  Again only you know that.

Always an exciting time, first game of the season.  Not much better than that opening day in Footballing terms.

Good luck on that recruitment drive Malc, but please get that online membership sorted.  It don’t look great.   Fans can buy match tickets, corporate day, merchandise online but they can’t join you Friends group.

I’m sure you are on it

There's a new interview with IC on the YouTube channel today, 5th August.

I personally like the idea of some good, meaningful questions being put to IC every few days and he being happy to explain the reasoning, and where the club is at, behind the scenes.

This seems a much more adult and professional way of presenting info to the fans and keeping us in the loop. So credit, where credit is due...well done the interviewer (not sure who you are) and well done IC.

Massive improvement from those behind the scenes.   Getting IC in front of a camera on a weekly basis is a real plus.   Like the interviewer. He is asking the questions the fans want answered.

What is the story with Alex Brown though?  Has he left, injured. Hopefully the two new signings can be in for the weekend. Would then give them a fighting chance to be included for the start of the season

I am pleased with the way the new YouTube channel is providing us with updates, but there is a dearth of information coming out of the club in other forms....maybe we have to wait for another IC interview to glean:

The current injury situation

IC's thoughts on Alfreton and what his strongest starting line up will be

Will a further friendly be added

Updates on potential new signings

Ticket sale numbers to Lynn fans for Southend's visit.

add to that Kes how is the new stadium manager settling in, what has he been busy with at this very important time . Did he have batteries for the defibulater on his shopping list of URGENT things to do? How many days and nights is the Blue and Gold booked out for privately, how many club functions are organised? Stock for the clubshop, etc etc.
