I have heard it all now they remove bottle tops for safety reasons. What the he'll are you supposed to do with it.

I remember them having to do that for a big FA Cup tie a few years ago, when they brought in some Stewards from another Club.

Did Peterborough bring their own Stewards tonight, and they insisted on it??   :dontknow:

It was the Oldham game, B and G, with stewards supplied by Boston Utd who were, or recently had been, in the League.

The reasoning was that soft drink bottles complete with cap could be filled with water ( or whatever) and used as a missile.
