Southend

Southend have bought 800 tickets in the away terrace and so far over 1500 tickets reported sold for the match.

As an aside I see Southend have reduced prices significantly following their relegation and currently have sold over 2,800 season tickets.
Just serves as a reminder for us all, of the size of the task in front of the club, on all levels this season.

I hope all fans are well catered for during the match day and it's a really positive match day experience...early prediction...think it will finish 1-1. :scarf:

Someone involved at the Club informs me that we have sold 48 season tickets so far (not verified)  :dontknow:

At my age I can get the same effect just by standing up too fast.

Well it's a start I guess............as an average gate..if Lynn could achieve 250-300 season tickets and 1500 other fans, I reckon that would be about par for a smallish club in the NL....add to that 500- 1500 away fans, depending on the opposition and you have a decent average gate of 2500-3000.

Can see gates of 2500-3000 for when the big clubs come calling.  Be interesting to see what gates we get for the likes of Bromley, Solihull, Wealdstone etc.

I guess if we can hit a 2,000 average that should keep everyone happy.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

With regards to season tickets the chairman did advise everyone not to buy one if the didn't want to be put in same position as last year. I heeded to his warning .

Yes, that's fair comment gs... season ticket sales are bound to be down, because of uncertainties this time around

Well that's decent news, 85 and rising...........

At the other end of the scale, Wrexham have had to cap their season ticket sales after unprecedented demand, with fans queueing from 10.30 pm the night before they went on sale.
That's the impact a couple of Hollywood millionaires can have on things. Apparently the number of people walking round with the new season shirt on,  in Wrexham is pretty high.
