Didn’t think our Chairman was ever worried about things being too expensive.  Or does that just apply to prices at The Walk ?

Who said he was the one paying for it? :dontknow:

Thanks for the info on the game gents.  A little concern spreading here in the Dilly world.  Not sure the amount of training, or games played, should have too much effect on performance against a lower team in the rankings, and one relying on additions from unwanted players from the level we are at.  I know there is disagreement here, but I hope we don’t make last season’s mistake of believing tis league is all about physical battles, and therefore trying to cater for it by mixing it.  That way lies defeat at the hands of nippy passing teams, which is what I saw, rightly or wrongly, in nearly all the teams in the position to which we aspire, and that gave us a pulping.  We may need more “footballers” - I believe we do…….

Well actually Dilly, I do agree to a large degree. I think we will try to run with a small squad, given the costs of being full time....so all of this might not be possible.......but in an ideal world maybe:

Back up goalie
One giant centre half
Back up nipster for King
Back up nipster for Morias (thinking at a push we could use one of the centre halves in the Omotayo role, should Gold get injured).

That's 4 more...think IC is thinking 2 more.
