Food

With the food being a hot topic amongst the fans recently.

Just want to give people another option, while I know fans are keen to put as much money into the club.

The Crossings Fish and chip shop literally less than a 100 yards away from the ground are doing matchday specials starting with 2 sausage and a portion of chips for £4 50.

50p cheaper, better quality and more for your money.

Wonderful. Another idea is a Morrisons meal deal for three quid.
Sandwiches, fruit( the healthy option) and a drink . Sit in the wonderful Walks park and enjoy.
They also do a very good all day breakfast.

How does buying food cheaply at a local Chippie and Supermarket not to mention pints at a local pub,  help SC and the Club pay back a 500k loan he has saddled the club with ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Another idea why not have something to eat and drink before you go to the match. Very much the  JD  atmosphere about the place .Should have stopped playing last season at least we wouldn't have  Goverment debt of 500k round our necks.

Having never tasted the food so I can’t comment on ,but I don’t think its right to advertise on here where you can save money buying outside the ground

I wouldn't worry about it. I really can't see that the Club could handle 5000 people wanting to buy food and drink. There will be more than enough supporters around on the day to make all Caterers happy (well, maybe not if a burger van owner has to pay £1,000 plus vat for a pitch).

Outside competition may help the Club to up their game...I very much doubt it though.

The attitude seems to be to take as much as they can with as little effort as possible.

Common practise when vendors think they have a captive audience

All these need to be look at the biggest problem we have got at the moment is we can’t really afford to at this time,we need to learn how to walk before we can run

In fairness we don’t seem to have evolved much since our Step 3 days, off the pitch.  All seems rather rudderless

Many things changed on the pitch, including personnel.

Same people doing same thing off the pitch.

Be you careful with the very suggestion of seeking sustenance outside of the ground? :laughcry: :laughcry:

With a seat at £25 and a programme at 3.50 surely SC won’t begrudge the fans finding less expensive food and drink outlets away from the Ground?   Think the fans are doing enough for him by paying admission prices.

He can’t have it every way.
