Ticket Prices
« on: August 15, 2021, 06:21:03 PM »
Lots of Lynn fans of long standing, are concerned at the expensive ticket prices.
They are the costliest in non league football.
Consequently I am now watching Heacham (6 promotions in 6 years) !
Its cheap (3 quid). Lager 2 pounds, sausage rolls 50p.
The football is good too

Jack Defty was outstanding. Heacham created several chances, could have been 5 or 6.

Although i missed the game unfortunately ,i did make it back just in time for the first race of a Horse Race Evening which by the looks of it raised a lot of money for the club. Including Jon Senter and Sam Pishorn, instead of going home with their substantial winnings from the last owners race, donated it back to the club.
What an amazing gesture.
Onwards to Mundford away on tuesday at 7-30pm for the teams first ever away game in Anglian Comb Prem.

Is their ground up to A step 6 ground grading Gordon?  I assume their aim is to move up the Non League ladder

Their aim is Thurlow Nunn in the future. They have a planning application in for floodlights. Brilliant set up with an amazing committee and volunteers, Supporters club and clubshop. Sponsorship boards that are affordable, matchday ball sponsors and match sponsors queueing up to be part of the journey.
Their prices for food and drink are amazing (but still profitable).
The whole of the village are behind them with an amazing MINORS set up that is tied into a Norwich City Scheme.

The club are looking for voluntary turnstile operators ahead of the new season, where you will receive admission to the game.

For Saturday games you will be required from 12:15pm until 15:10pm and then you will be able to watch the game.

To apply please contact Jamie Farr via Facebook or via email (jamesfarr1982@hotmail.com)

Seems a bit late for this. I'd have thought this kind of thing woukd have been sorted out a long time ago.

I think I'd want a bit more than just free admission for this game! The benefit in kind being offered doesn't even equate to a minimum wage! It need's to  include a couple of posh coffee's and access to the VP's sandwich table at the very least. 😂

:laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry: Sold 2000 tickets, suddenly realised they need someone on the turnstiles.

They will be advertising for someone with experience to mark out the pitch next........... presumably they have checked the goal nets for holes and checked things like water systems and showers for legionnaires if they haven't been used for ages !!

I'm a bit confused.

 Which turnstiles need operators?

Last year a steward scanned the ticket and you walked in, certainly at the turnstile near the box office.

Different system this year?

Is there a licence on the scanners that needs re-newing every year?   :dontknow:

If tickets for seats are sold on the day hope they have proper seat number otherwise there will be problems.

The seated tickets historical are universal with no numbers on so I agree chaos may be the order of the day.I have asked the club about segregation etc but they have not replied. It seems they have not had a plan from the start and are now just burying thier heads in the sand.
