With Junior now missing for a few weeks and no sign of King,  does leave us thinner than thin.  Could we do with a body or two through the door?

Jack Wilshere in need of matches, released by Bournemouth and nobody wants him. :scarf: :hello:

Nooooo!   He's just a candidate for the treatment room!
Has spent at least 40% of his Career injured  :oldman"

Wouldn't cost us a lot then, would it   :laughcry:  :laughcry:

People keep talking about new players coming in. I suppose there is a chance that it could go the other way and we could be unloading a couple to get some money in the Bank.

King and Brown likely candidates (presumably contracted)?   :dontknow:

Is Brown even still with the club.  King, who knows what the story is there.  Our media dept hasn’t released anything on either player.

With us running such a small squad now would seem the time where SC reaches out for some outside investment to give IC a stronger hand to play.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

I bet we could get a good deal on Marriott coming back these days. That subs bench tends to get cold after a while.

Now that we have a more attacking selection availability, I believe Marriott would be the icing on the cake, as the more chances any goal scorer gets in a game, the more he will score…… and we know he can score !

But he's not currently deemed good enough to start for Barnet, is he.
....and they're not Chesterfield or Notts County are they !

Personally think you are all living in the past.......just let it go....we have a different way of playing these days.

Marriott was awesome for us in NLN.  However it would be interesting to see the stats on his goals to games ratio at Step 1 and higher..  Maybe step two was his true level

OK - friendly disagreement on Marriott…. But, at any level, if the team were good enough to get in the penalty area (they weren’t when he was last here), AM only needed the ball at his feet to sidestep a defender in less than a yard, and slot it home.  Not fair to just look at his score record, if his team didn’t create chances.  Disagreements don’t matter, because we all have the same ambitions for the club…..well, most of us do !…..

Last rant !  Meant to add that no Dilly team yet selectable, until new players known, but Gyasi must be in the team, imho.  Rowley and him would be a handful.  Jury out on Gold, at the moment….

Agree with Gyasi to start. The brief time that he and Morias were on the pitch Lynn looked dangerous going forward, although we now have to wait three games to see how that will work.

You keep disagreeing Dillmiester.  It’s all about opinions.   No right or wrong.  Plus your view is no less valuable than anyone else’s.

You are right everyone on here wants a successful club.  On and off the Pitch.

I see the old kit guy, Richard Simper is the new stadium caretaker

Agreed  Mallard.  Great result.  And a big lesson.  Attackers can defend, as numbers count.  But defenders attack and don’t often score.  If we only picked a positive and balanced team, we can do really well in this league.  IC has collected well, now should be braver in selection.  Gyasi made the difference.  IMHO !!
