Local newspaper take on it

I think we all expected something like this.

The problems on Saturday were avoidable and should never have happened.

Could have been far more serious. A bullet was dodged!

Many people on this forum could see there were likely to issues in selling tickets to the away team fans in all parts of the ground.  Surely someone at the Club with greater expertise than anyone here could see the issues, yet nothing was done to control the situation.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Just under 1200 away fans out of a ground capacity of 5,000 is still a reasonably high percentage......I don't think any of the away fans could complain at that and it obviously makes sense from a policing and stewarding perspective and from a  hoping to build a home "fortress" mentality and creating a "difficult place to come to."..........provided of course there are more than 1200 home fans
