I see Mr Chairman has just tweeted that 1100 tickets have been sold for Monday. Considering this is a bank holiday I don’t think it looks good for figures going into the winter. How long before home attendances are 700,800,900 ish again?

Judging by the chairman’s latest tweet: there is currently around 659 home fans expected today and 641 from chesterfield. Absolute joke for a national league club but what do you expect with those prices…

That’s a worrying attendance prediction. We may now have a team that can do well at this level - surely support shouldn’t drop off now ?  Says a stay-at-home Dilly, who is a Covid Coward !  I used to use Obsession spray, but I found I couldn’t keep the ladies at bay…. For today, after a very good performance at Yeovil, I hope we can play Rowley, but yay or nay, we surely must play Gyasi.  His sort cause chances for all, including Coleman on Saturday.  Must be very wary of Kabongo Tshimanga - the arch nipster who destroyed us for Boreham Wood last season.

Re attendance :

V Southend, 2600.....1800-2000 Southend,. 600-800 Lynn.

So if Lynn attendance is same and Chesterfield match it, it will be a total of 1200-1600.

As it's a Bank Hol and the weather is poor, hopefully there will be a few more from Lynn.... would be good to get close to 2000.

Perhaps lay off the "Lynx" this time around WLM ! :laughcry:

Always thought of Mike as more of a Brut man. Maybe Old Spice on a Sunday?

Is there such a thing? Taking the correct precautions to protect yourself AND others, despite  that meaning having to miss your favourite past time?

Hats off to you! :thanks:

Should be a good game today with Chesterfields aSPIRE rations.
Let's hope there's a TWIST in that for them today.

I think the club should introduce a reward card scheme. You get it stamped each time you go to a match. Once you have got 8 stamps, you get a £3 discount off entrance fee for rest of season.

Would help bring those fans back who have reached their tipping point and now feel priced out and would give something back to the most loyal.

Rewarding your customers is always a good idea.

Not sure if we would be allowed to do what you suggest though.  :dontknow:

I believe away supporters have to be allowed entry at same price as home supporters. As they are very unlikely to have been at previous games it would mean they are paying more to gain entry.  :dontknow:

Great idea for a Chinese take away though.   :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

B & G - Thanks. I am currently missing out, but I have an underlying condition.  I do hope we start getting a great crowd again, as I believe this team could do well.  But, to all who go, be careful, we don’t want to hear of even ONE supporter catching this damn thing.  And. KES, Kabongo doesn’t need or use “ Strength” because they’ve nothing to wrestle, after he’s put them on their arses with a side-step or body swerve.  I recall being most impressed with his nipsterism against our team last season.  Low “centre of gravity”, I think they call it !   Dilly compromise - Will accept 3 central defenders, as long as there are no “holders” in front of them, Clunan, Sundire, and King, for me, linking with Gyasi and Rowley, with Gold as the bloke to come on when something different needed.  Nerd rant over, much banter to come.  Top six ?!!!

As much as another home defeat is disappointing the results we achieve against the Chesterfield and the other 7/8 big hitters won’t define what we do this season.  It’s what we do against the other 12/13 teams that will determine where we end up in this League.

The one big worry seems to be the size of the squad and how we will cope as the season progresses.   2 games in and we were missing Rowley, King and Linton.  Fleming sent out on loan and Jones back on the bench ( but how fit was he to be there ?).

It seems we don’t have the money to go with say a 20 man squad but in reality can we really hope to go with just 18.   Surely SC can find that bit extra to bring in two extra bodies.

If he cannot fund it himself then with all his connections in the business world he can find one or two to come onboard to pump some much needed funds in.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

All things considered, a half decent start....I am sure we would have taken 3 draws from the opening fixtures.
