Here's an early suggestion for a fund raising topic for the FOTL.........a supporters minibus.

Given the club have managed to obtain houses for the players, maybe the club would be happy to throw a few grand in to.improve the away support and give something back to the die hard fans.

Wonder if there are any willing drivers amongst that core group ?

I was in Swaffham on Saturday. 2 Coaches of Leicester supporters had stopped there for food and drink on the way to Narwich. Apparently one of the Towns Landlords had the foresight to contact one of the Foxes Supporters Club to suggest that Swaffham would be a preferable option than the City on the way to the game (no idea if they repeated this on the way home).

So, would it be feasible for Fotl to open the B&G bar when Lynn are not at home and Narwich are? Then contact Supporters Clubs of Northern and (maybe) Midlands Clubs to see if something could be arranged? Coaches and Cars with guaranteed parking spaces at a football ground providing food and drink for hungry and thirsty football supporters who are used to, and willing, to pay stadium prices (as long as nobody increases prices and tries to take the p*ss).

Just an idea that would require a quick feasibility study. For example, I haven't looked at any dates as to when the earth and the moon align.

Cracking idea.   Has the CM job been filled yet ?  Maybe SC will be phoning you later.

You could be the Ray Hall of the Commercial dept.  Or are they looking for someone at BAFTA level ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

I'd be better off running the bar. After all, I discovered Nigel Kerrison (Legend).   :laughcry:

Having gone to school with Nigel, he certainly was a legend even then. Sadly all the blond hair has gone (as mine has too ).

The idea of opening up the bar for visiting supporters to Norwich is a good idea although (and this might be my age) the old bladder would be suffering by the time I got to Norwich.

Trouble is mark n Matt do a superb job in organising travel but even for the Yeovil game wasn’t full , the club have put on buses in the past and then had to cancel as no takers !!  Knowing a lot of moaners on here they’ll want travel for free  :bus:

Remember the good old days when the supporters club had at best a coach or coaches, if not two minibuses driven by myself and Trevor Defty and at worst just the 1 minibus pretty much to all away games.
As well as that there were other minibuses arranged by various fans but not under the Supporters Club banner.

A little further back R Doughty and Son with George Mallett one of the main drivers. Also recall when Mick Wright was manager the club used Dacks buses 😲
Followed KLFC until 2009.
