STREET AGREES NEW DEAL
Posted on 6th May 2016
King’s Lynn Towns Number One, Alex Street has agreed terms for next season after being one of Lynn’s top performer of the 2015-16 season. Gary Setchell says he is pleased to tie down Alex quickly with his new deal, he will turn out to be one of the best goalkeeper’s at step three level and we are very lucky to have him at the club.

Great news and I agree........One of the best and most consistent keepers at this level with still much time on his side to become even better! I would not be at all surprised if Pedro eventually beats the all time appearances record for a keeper (whatever that is) by some distance.

Saturday EDP stated that Lee Smith could be taking early retirement. Maybe more freed up to sign John Sands. Does this mean the wage structure is about to be thrown out of the window ?

Re Lee Smith if that is so a real shame, as when fit he was a positive influence in our mid field.

Rod think the hope is that he will sign and they will manage the injury he is left with through the season and maybe get 25-30 games out him

Smith has struggled with injuries pretty much all season. A great shame as he has been an excellent player when he has been fit.

Apparently its an injury that he has to live with if he wants to continue to play Football. The same injury as Bunting has to deal with.
