Tony,

Are you the new FOTL committee member?

In a word, no, but as a member of both the FotL and the B&G Trust I try to support events / fundraising activities as and when I can.  Would love to see more fans engaged with one or both organisations.

Do you know the name of the new Lady Secretary?

Malcolm. Is that 9 FOTL's members in total, or do you mean you have 9 committee members?

I thought that when I said members I thought  it was quite obvious I meant committee members

The question asked about the total number of members.

No mention of committee members was made in that particular  post.

I thought by your post that you may have been confused, hence my question on the matter.

So, there are now 9 committee members (well done). What's the total number of Fotl's members you now have?

I believe we had 40 plus members at the last committee meeting and 75 in the 100 club, the membership is nowhere near enough for a Supporters club but it’s early days. It’s early days so I expect numbers to rise, it’s only £5 to join I would like it to rise to 200 plus then we would have a Supporters Club

I would have thought it would be easy enough to get the majority of people that are in the 100 Club, and who are not already members of the fotl's, to join. After all, its only a fiver.

Maybe its just a case of approaching them individually, rather than waiting for them to contact the fotl's.   :dontknow:

Biggest stumbling block is that people see the FOTL as an option for funding the club, everything they have done has provided something for the club! Not one thing has been done for the fans!

Perhaps a lunatic was simply a minority of one.

I would have thought helping the club to survive is for the fans surely, making sure the fans have a football team to be a fan off .but I get your point about doing something for the fans but if more fans would join the Surporters Club then we would have more income available to put events on for them

Surely the ideal scenario would be something that would benefit both parties ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Has I just said mallard if we can get more members then we can put on events for the fans and I totally agree with what you said it should be for both fans and club we just have to increase the fan base
