Fans could relate with the Jarv’s, Gash’s etc it all felt right. Now we are at step one then players came in from here there and everywhere. No link up or connection with the fans. Maybe we need to give the transition a bit longer to see if there will be a bond.

Maybe we need to give the transition a bit longer to see if there will be a bond.These are exactly the thoughts I'm thinking.I'm not saying the current crop are a bunch of mercenaries, but there doesn't seem to be many who will "fight for the shirt"Aaron Jones, when he came on yesterday acknowledged the crowd immediately and played with passion - and I didn't see that from any of the others.I'm not saying the players play to lose, but I do question the effort to win??As Mallard says, we loved players like Gash, Jarvis, McCauley, Fryatt, Hendo, Street - even Lee Stevenson & Dan Quigley because we felt they loved playing for the club and would always give their all..The current crop may gel, but they have to understand they are in for a scrap this season.I hope they have the desire for it
