I am just amazed.........is it ever going to dawn

Keep doing the same things every game and in this league you get the same result.

Teams around Lynn are improving as the season develops.....have Lynn honestly improved since Southend ?

A familiar one nil defeat.......sloppy goal given away early doors, a common theme and toothless upfront....common theme.

There had to be a night when the other sides got wins...now it has happened and we are starting to look in real trouble. League goals from forwards totals 3.
Linton 1 Morias 2 Omotayo 0. Doesn't matter what league you are in, if you can't score in 90 minutes you will get relegated....... it's actually becoming rather painful being a Lynn fan.

The Chairman has a number of serious decisions to make.......next up Weymouth !

1160 there tonight.

Taking everything into consideration,  that's not a bad turnout for a Tuesdsy evening.

Hard to argue with any of that, just listened to Chris Lakey's thoughts on Facebook and again not much to disagree with, other than his view that Morias will be important for us (imo wants to drop way, way too deep and could easily have earned another straight red had a wild lash out made contact) can't fault the effort of the players but toothless upfront is probably being kind.  I thought Davis had a good debut and found space and looked positive but we don't look like creating anywhere near enough and probably the best chance of the night falls to Aaron Jones, rather than a forward, and he couldn't convert it.

I would say for a Tuesday evening when we are not doing well that is an excellent gate.If that is what we can get on our current form just imagine how many a win would add to the gate? :scarf: :scarf:

Where is Malcolms magic wand when you need it? Is it in the same mystery cupboard as Stans buckets? :dontknow:

I still believe we can’t expect to create enough chances if we continue to have 8 players including the GK who are there either to defend, stodgier, or “sit” (a complete waste of a player).  Strikers alone don’t ore goals.  We need creative attacking midfielders.  We have them - not world- beaters, but the best we have, and never play them, or at least no more tha one.  It has to change.  We see remarks on the live texts that “we’re not creating much in the attacking area”.  Well, of course we’re not !  Bad night !  Apols for the cynicism.

Whoever coined the phrase the best form of defence is attack should be quoted before every game, get those nipsters in there! If
we are going behind playing a defensive game then what do we have to lose by being the aggressor and attacking? These teams have done their homework and unravel us like a ball of wool, have to start being a bit like Rocky, starting out all defensive, and then all of a sudden IC shouts "switch King's Lynn" and they turn into an attacking machine!

Have to agree with KES there are some strong decisions for the Chairman to make.

The team is lacking goals and after all that’s what wins games.   Will SC just sit back and allow us to continue to struggle at the wrong end of the table or bite the bullet and find some additional funds from somewhere.?

The question is where

1.  Rely on a decent cup run and hope we get through round 1 and get a plum draw in the next round.

2.  Bring in outside help ( I hate to use the word ‘investment’)

3.  Find the money from his own asset base.

4.  Hope the new Commercial Director hits the ground running and comes up with some toe curling ideas to generate a lot of extra income.

I think before the chairman wastes anymore money someone  must get through to the manager that Gold should not be the first name on the team sheet every game. He didn't win one aerial battle last nigh he brings nothing to the team..

Funny how opinions vary GS several of us near me thought he had a lot better game last night Dribbled and ran with the ball on several occasions which we haven't seen often.
He also won several headers , flick ons right in front of us in the stand in the first half Maybe we watched a different game
Also a strong defensive header in the second half

Thinking about it.  If the playing budget was set on projected gates and we are already not anywhere near hitting those targets can the current budget be held without one of the 4 options ?

If the same business model continues to be used as it has since the current Chairman took control, then why not?
