Band at the walks.
« on: October 31, 2021, 08:37:49 PM »
Well after what seems like years there will be a live band playing at the Blue and Gold club on Friday 12th November, 8:30 till late,it is a 60s rock and roll band called Sidewalk. Is this going to be the beginning of regular music back at the club? Many many people have been asking for ages for something to happen in the bar and now it is,it is now up to people to turn up and support it. As this is the first of hopefully many nights there will be no entry fee,if people would like to donate towards the cost it would be much appreciated.

Well done Griss. Wishing you every success.

At my age I can get the same effect just by standing up too fast.

Well done Malc and of course your committee.   Good to see something proactive happening.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Another one of your ideas from a few years ago. Such a shame that you were not allowed to join the committee years ago when you first offered them assistance. If I remember correctly, two individuals in particular objected to you joining, although they never appeared to do much themselves.

Well done again. Keep it up.

We are opening our ground on Friday 5 November from 6pm for people to watch Fawkes In The Walks from the shelter of the main stand. Fans will be offered drinks from the club Cafe Bar and there will be BBQ offerings available too.
The club are also pleased to confirm that from Saturday we hope to be offering draft Guinness and Carling in the Blue and Gold Bar.

Get the right people involved and the right things start happening!

Strange that!

Looks like Griss is being very proactive on the FOTL.  Just shows what can be done if the effort is put in.

Well done to Malc, beginning to look the best signing of the season.

May as well just give him a go up front. Nothing to lose.  😂
