The second best thing the Owner of the club did was to appoint IC in the first place. The best thing the owner did was to realise the mistake of 'letting him go' and not being too proud to contact IC and persuade him to return.
No doubt Backie brokered that deal. Now here’s an off the wall thought. How about allowing IC to concentrate on his forte of coaching players ( after all thats his background at all clubs, Grantham apart) and bring in an experienced Manager to work with him. Looking at yesterday’s press Conference he looks to need some help and guidance
Personally I would say IC is a very talented coach and as this level is fairly new to him, he is having to take on very swiftly what works and doesn't work with the personnel he has at his disposal.Just as there is a huge jump in playing ability from NLN to NL, so there is a huge jump in coaching ability. IC is now competing with some talented and very savvy coaches.

All in all though on the theme he has done well and the memories of the current regime are good, just looking a little out of it all lately.

He needs to be given the freedom to run the team as he sees fit,and if Mr Cleeve cannot fund his dream then IC cannot be responsible for that dream becoming a nightmare!
