Rumour has it that a certain soon-to-be nineteen year old is signing for Posh today.
Can anyone verify?

Joe Taylor?

Really?  Can't think who else would fit that description, that Peterborough would be interested in?

Good luck to the lad.   Nice amount of compo should be heading Lynn’s way with him being a youngster.

The first  one for the new Academy system.  Player gets a pro chance clubs makes money from it.   Win win
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

With the Chairman selling on one player then have to assume he will be bringing in a new signing.   Not sure if it’s a signing for today or one he hopes can be nurtured on for tomorrow.

Just thought he might have gone for a more attacking option than adding to the defensive area.   :mystic:

IF it's true:
Should we be excited about the money coming Lynn's way when, if he's good enough for Pboro and we are not scoring, surely he should have been in Lynn's starting line up ?

All well and good to be developing and selling on, as with Carey, but at the same time you have to be doing enough to preserve your own club's status.

KES have to believe that money is coming in for Taylor.  Thought it was all part of the master plan. Develop ya own to then sell on.  If they leave for nothing then what’s the point?

Can see that Mall, but currently I feel any money gained has to go into the pot for new players.
We lost Carey, but have we used the £75k for players ? I cant answer that, but we seem significantly weakened by his leaving....I was rather hoping we would sign a star player to replace him.... hasn't happened. What's the cost of dropping out of the NL versus what's the cost of getting someone in who can make a genuine and immediate difference, is I guess the question SC has to mull over.

First one for the new Academy system surely you mean ANOTHER one for the KINGS LYNN COMMUNITY FOOTBALL PROGRAMME. Was there before the KLTFC academy was even thought off.

Is Joe Taylor not on the Clubs Academy scheme at the moment ?  I stand corrected if that is not the case

Took me two hours to work that one out (I don't like to use anagram solvers). I think I've got, so if its not a wind up I look forward to the big reveal.

Seems a strange choice for a new signing though.  :dontknow:

I remember Boris Karloff ( and his Crypt Kicker Five).  Not time to bury your head in the sand.

"Lynn have signed defender Baris Altintop from Bury Town.
Although born in Bury St Edmunds the 21 year old (b.29.9.00) progressed through the Sudbury Academy to make 76 appearances for their first team where he became captain. He also had spells with Needham Market and the youth set ups of Ipswich Town and Colchester United.
Unable to agree a new deal with the King's Marsh club he moved to Bury Town in September 2020 on a two year deal.
Altintop, who can also play midfield, made twelve appearances this season scoring one goal and has collected four bookings."

He was in one of only four sides that have been by Wisbech this season!   :welcome:  :scarf:
