Does anyone know if Joe Taylor just “went” or was sold ?  If sold - how much for ?

My source tells me he went without a fee but as a gesture of goodwill P’Boro gave Lynn a tiny 4 figure sum.

I’m sure the Chairman will clear it up in a podcast ( if he ever does another one) or in the Programme. Even might cover it in the EDP.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Must have been sold as he can only play for under 23 squad until transfer goes thru in January.

Apparently £2,000. I also heard it was a goodwill gesture due some sort of "contractual mess up".

Presumably that was the reason for the delay between when the news first broke and the confirmation of him signing for Posh.   :dontknow:

No idea. Apparently  the problem appeared to be at our end, but heard no more than that. Guess its one that we just have to chalk down to experience and move on.

So was the photo of him signing  contract last year plus option of further 12 months false.

If this hadn't happened for Joe and Lynn now had the chance of an unknown U23 striker on Peterborough's books, who had scored a hatful of goals in lower leagues, prior to joining them, would we now be considering a loan deal to bolster our forward line I wonder ?

Just the sort of loan signing that might make sense?!

Can't see how it was a stitch up more like a cock up because of i believe the 4 days left on his contract. So not only were we not playing him but looks like not talking about a new contract. Looks like the cock up is all blue and yellow.

Thought I read contract was until 10th December with option of further 12 months. Where's the problem. Listening to last conference idea was to send out on loan going to higher league team in January then back next season.

Presumably ready to warm the subs bench at step 2.........pleased for him that he has looked out for himself and got to Peterborough as Lynn weren't prepared to give him a real go it seems to me.
