He really doesn’t. He did however serve a ban for his previous comments. Clearly his eye problem is something he’s somewhat conscious of and it’s hit a nerve. Not condoning him there but Wrexham fans absolutely obliterated him all over twitter

Watching the amazing Stockport game last night and  the big fan base and the professional setup..............then realise how so far away we are from that. The twitter stuff just sums it all up.

Appears to be oblivious to his own actions over the years.

For balance Happy Stockport were playing for several season in what is now the Championship during the late 1990’s.  So you would hope they a have lot of experience of how to run a professional Football Club
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Poor old Stephen. Next thing is he'll be accused of causing trouble between the supporters and putting the safety stewards at risk.

I’m not on Twitter, so I don’t follow what is going on in Twittertown.  BUT - my opinion may therefore be ill-informed, but I believe SC really HAS put the club, and therefore the town, on the map.  I agree that things are now pretty tough, financially and on the pitch, but if he still thinks he can take this club forward to where his ambitions for it point, he must have a reason for that belief.  I hope he succeeds.  Of course there is a danger of implosion, but he will be aware of that as well, and yet he still thinks that danger can be nullified.  As I said, this could be an ill-informed viewpoint, of mine, and an unobtainable ambition of his, but I believe this is the “now or never” era that this club has always failed to reach.

Fine speech that Dillmiester, but haven’t a clue what you are basing any of that on.
