Prediction of today’s selection….  One GK, four CHs, two “holding” MF workhorses, three hooligans, one big lunk striker with no teeth, and a tattoo round his neck saying “YEAH ?” to “put his foot in”, “bring others into play”, and “defend from the front”.  Four quick tricky nipsters on the bench, to watch, and “learn the game”….  Only kidding - there must be room for a sarky git on here, n’set-ce-pas ?  COYL !!! (fingers are crossed, but not holding out much hope….)

No fairytales in this league......they have a recognised forward and Lynn don't.......
so another defeat another null points. Brave effort today, yes, but at the end of the day for the umpteenth time, close but no cigar, null points and firmly rooted to the bottom.

I am beginning to think the Chairman is settling for step 2 next season.

By my reckoning 2 weeks to sign a couple of strikers and save the season.

Defeat very likely next week v Stockport......defeat to Aldershot probably leaves too much to do, with the season less than half over. Only consolation is that this year the gap between the wealthy sides at the top and the rest is even greater......a team might escape relegation if they can get to 35 points

I was one of those advocating Mazza should leave Dazza and I stick by that......I merely posted that to emphasize you need a forward to score goals......I doubt Mazza will get beyond 10 this season ....we need someone to score an absolute hatful to keep us up, the way we are shipping goals

Massive kick in the teeth for the team today.  Then again can’t concede 3 goals and expect to win games.

I thought defensive frailties had been sorted. That’s 9 shipped in last two games.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Defensive frailties can’t be sorted by having 3 CHs and other defenders.  Indeed, that’s what causes the problem- we don’t spend long enough in the other team’s half, because of the line-ups !  AND the lack of creative midfielders to keep the opponents’ long enough on the back foot, or give goalscorers decent chances.  All very frustrating, because, in most games, we are genuinely competing.  The commentators on Radio Norfolk, today, were, impressively, able to work out what was happening before their eyes.  Not all football managers are, because they are blinded by cliches.  That’s no dig at IC, just a generalisation.  Onwards and Downwards !!!

Can't go any further downwards till May Dilly (with the greatest respect to Dover who are also somewhat hamstrung)

Quite a situation at Lynn.

The players currently not good enough to play IC's system.

IC not prepared to change that system.

SC seemingly loathe to spend big bucks on a forward or two, to take the pressure off the system.
