Yes a concern and important people are aware.

Btw, the editor of that article wouldn't last very long on " Just a Minute "................ REPETITION :laughcry:

Have you never had a visit from a sales rep who's selling advertising spaces in programs or magazines?

Repetition get results!   :laughcry:

The wearing of face coverings to become compulsory in shops and on public transport from next week.

Forty-two Premier League players and staff tested positive for Covid-19 in the past week - the most recorded in the league over a seven-day period.
It is the highest number since 40 cases were reported in January.

Yes, bound to be high at this time of year, especially with limited masks, no social distancing and weak border controls, irrespective of a new variant..........the price of opening up and letting it rip, some will say.

If you listened to the South African doctor who discovered this variant on GB News tonight, she said its a very mild illness and nothing like the Delta variant which we had in the summer. I think Boris is trying to deflect from all the criticism.

Given that the hospitality trade is already taking a big hit, it seems to me that the sensible thing to do is to shut the country down till the end of the year, to give time to assess Omicron and indeed if necessary, the efficacy of any boosters. The current situation is madness, with no real measures other than vaccines and insufficient data to know whether the current boosters are really effective....the government seem to be relying on a couple of early samples on small numbers and then extrapolating it out over millions and then putting the wind up people, when they themselves say they won't have any solid data for another couple of weeks.

All to do with perspective really and what you want to believe, you will believe who is making claims that you yourself want to believe? For instance if Mary-Jo claimed you had a small penis and Mary-Beth claimed you had a large penis, which Mary would you side with? :dontknow:
“No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?”

I suspect Griss that in that case, each of us would know the truth and hopefully we wouldn't need to deviate from that........but I like your point, because it does illustrate how the current government try to act. Gs has it... it's all about money and perceived power.
