It'll cost you Marcus ! :laughcry:

Marcus, a quick tip.

Find something worth a pound, and try and sell it for £20.

Multiply the proceeds in your own head a few hundred times, convince yourself its realistic, and the job is done.

Good luck.

Thinkthe best we can hope for during the remainder of this season is the development of a side that won't get relegated at step 2

A lot of players in this seasons squad will be in contract through the summer and into next season.    That has to be the starting point for next season.   If  a new Manager comes in Will he have a free reign to put his squad together or will SC be ‘helping’ in that area ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Courtesy of Uber.

"When the tunnel becomes a walk of shame,
with another dire performance in the game,
It won't be his fault, so it don't really matter
The fans are all leaving, in all of spatter.

Lets go shopping at Aldi, although Waitrose is needed,
The words of advice have never been heeded.
His is the vision, that others must follow,
And thoughts of the masses, are all rather hollow.

Lets hope that step 2, will be kinder to us,
Or there will be calls, for him to catch the bus
The gates will fall further, no secret in that,
When the future is down, to an individual P**t

Some will support him, although keep their heads down
Hoping in time there will a new knight white in Town
They keep saying yes to him, they won't or can't see
That they are all part of the problem, and others agree.

A clear out is needed, lets all start again.
And hope this time, to avoid all the pain
Honesty is needed, not personal gain.
So the Club no longer, holds its head down in shame"

Marcus, my father knows you. He wonders if your talking about Kings Lynn, Fc United of Manchester, or Manchester United? Because they are all pretty poor at the moment.

I do have some sympathy for Stephen Cleeve.  He took over this club with huge ambition.  He made some mistakes along the way ( who doesn’t) and took this Club to its highest level in its history (?).  That is no mean feat.  Luck has played a part, for sure.   Getting IC  in then managing to get him back after he cocked it up the first time.   The curtailed season and points per game getting us into step one and the Gash goal getting us out of step 3.

This season that ‘luck’ has deserted him.  Will he have the money and indeed the mental strength to comeback from this season and be able to cope with the Club going backwards, for the first time under his stewardship.  It’s a big thing to admit to failure and another thing to see what you can do different and bounce back.

Good luck to Stephen try and keep strong and don’t let your health suffer.

Yes, I also have some sympathy with SC.
It was a huge task to haul Lynn from step3 to the NL............he is the only one to have achieved that with the club and in successive seasons.
The second promotion came too quickly, but he couldn't really turn that down.

The requirements at step 1, came as a shock to everyone associated with the club.

Unfortunately because of the strange nature of last season and Lynn's financial frailty, being a small fish in a big pond, there perhaps wasn't time to assess what we would truly need for this season.
IC appeared out of his depth at times last season, questioning his own judgement and style of play and maybe at the end of the season due to the chopping and changing of players, still wasn't totally sure what would be required... let's not forget it is a huge jump and steep learning curve for him too and he is only human. SC has funded full time and all that goes with it, "to get the right calibre of player in'",but the right calibre hasn't been found and the move to full time appears to have backfired spectacularly........and the manager is adamant that he wants to play his way, which currently simply isn't working with the personnel he has.

I would like to say a big thank you to SC for having the ambition and desire to get Lynn to the NL.
Going forward he must do what is best for himself and his family. He isn't everyone's cup of tea,but on the pitch an awful lot had been achieved up to the start of last season. The NL is quite brutal in it's requirements, in all areas. To me , whats most important from hereon in,  is that the club doesn't completely implode and take The Chairman and IC with it. Time for some deep breaths, reflection, re think and a new direction

A certain Mr Marriott scores both goals in Barnet's win Wasn't good enough for NL? Really?

As I understand it, marriot left of his own freewill, he didn't cut it last season at Eastleigh. He scored 2 goals today, good luck to the lad.

He scored 3 in 11 games at Barnet  Our top scorer has 3 in 15 Couldn't do any worse

Maybe he better players creating chances for him at Barnett.  Things are never as simple as they seem.

I think SC has to take responsibility for the off field decisions and the clubs financial position, it was he who decided that he didn't want any other party involved, or if he did then he still wanted to make all the decisions. IC has to take responsibility for the playing side. He signed the players, decides the tactics and picks the team. I'm sure if players were signed behind his back then he would have made sure that we all knew. Where do we go from here? I have no idea, but let's just hope there is a club and team at the end of the season.

A very fair summary of the position I feel
