Anyone at a loose end on Saturday and a couple of quid to spare you could pop over to watch Heacham, cup game against Sprowston. Kick off is 13:15,I'm sure you will be made to feel very welcome, and also enjoy the football. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

My brother and I went a few weeks ago, entry, two cans of lager, two cups of tea and a programme,we spent the princely sum of £13 between us. We were well rewarded, attacking football and good goals, hopefully their form carries on. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Is Lynn legend Jack Defty still pulling a shirt on over there ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Jack is suffering with sciateca and unfortunately out till after Christmas.  Thankfully anyone who has pulled the 9 shirt on in his absence has done the business. Some great youngsters on the books also and the management and coaches are not frightened to play them and again they have all been worthy of the shirt.

There seems to be a great collective team spirit...both on and off the pitch.

Really? I have been told all of superb after match food (well done Illyias) and bottle of Prossceco if you get Man of the Match!
The camaraderie there i wouldn't be surprised if the players actually pay to play!

Did I read Eoin McQuade has joined Heacham from Wisbech.  Step 4 to step 7.  They must be good after match sausage n chips

Good value for money at Heacham. 3 quid plus 1 quid for the programme. Excellent cafe for cheap beer, sausage rolls, hot drinks. Exciting attacking football - 15 wins no defeats. Top goalscorers John Flannagan and Nathan Davies have 33 goals between them. Injurred Jack Defty not required
at the moment. 6 promotions in a row, Thurlow Nunn league here we come. Come on down for a good game of football tomorrow 1.15 start Norfolk Senior Cup v Sprowston.

Exciting times for a club that appears to be getting things right.

Well good for them......and yes undoubtedly exciting for them.

However, not personally exciting for me.......and whilst I wish them well, I personally wouldn't pay to watch that standard....... I've played at around that level or slightly higher (classifications have changed a good deal in 35-40 years) and I am only interested in watching and paying to see a good deal higher in terms of level.

Yes a number of things have gone awry at The Walks, but I sense SC is trying to redress some of the issues. I personally feel that the "Things are better at Heacham" line has run its course and is wearing a bit thin........time IMHO to get behind the second largest club in the county, rather than extolling the virtues of an outfit that is on the up and doing really well, albeit a massive 6 steps down the line.

It is not a case of things are better at Heacham, we all know that in the grand scheme of things that Heacham are down there and we are up there! It is not saying forsake King's Lynn and support Heacham, just a shout to support a team that has supported King's Lynn! I personally attend every home game when possible, away games when I can,I am not advocating deserting King's Lynn for Heacham? If we have no home game and you can't make it to the away game and Heacham are at home, they provide our training facilities, lets give them something back!
