That last line worries me.I genuinely hope I'm proved wrong, but having the intention of playing league football is not the way to run a non league football club.Having the intention of building a club that attracts enough fans to support a team capable of competing at the highest level that club can reasonably afford, would be a more achievable long term goal.Sounds like promotion at any cost.Where does that leave us when it all goes belly up, again?

As for someone doing their homework, that would be the big concern in terms of the sort of candidates we would appeal to as I can't see the club appealing to an experienced manager so the question is then would an up and coming manager want to come in now or maybe take the gamble that the post will be available again at the end of the season?
