Wack, just looking at the options you listed:
     1) sell up - this obviously needs a 'willing buyer and a willing seller' - not sure we could get that combination and a valuation that both parties would be happy with
     2) change MO - there have been signs this season but still two steps forward, one backward.  Biggest hindrance to this is the narrowness of people involved in the club - we need a proper ops manager and SC has long needed an editor for both programme notes and EDP articles, not to censor him but just an independent voice to calmly explain the wider ramifications of some of the things he is willing to put into print
     3) think we are a long way past insolvent without 'the support of the director' - what I would disagree on is that it is the fans will have brought about the situation, some of us have been questioning the reliance on financial doping on the pitch without addressing the insufficient infrastructure at the club for years, what I would accept is that there does seem a majority of the fanbase who think A.N.Other should subsidise the club in some shape or form

Also probably goes a long way in explaining the missing supporters.

What I don’t believe for one moment about the article, is Cleeve claiming he is at a loss with regards to the low gates. By now he must realise what the main problem is.

Been to Buxton today. Same problems on the horizon here in my opinion.

Gate of 1309 today including myself. Game against Fc United of Mancheater which the visitors were worthy winners at 2-1. They were very slick with their passing on the artificial pitch. Theo Richardson converted to centre forward to try and force a late equaliser  As an OAP the admission was six quid including a seat. The game was a bit difficult to see as it was very foggy. It was a joy to hear the announcements
Of teams etc from the guy on the pitch with a microphone.
Incidentally , I am a Lynn season ticket holder but happened to be in
Buxton today  Well.done on todays trophy success. Looking forward to the Boxing Day game against Notts County and  a Josh Barrett hat trick.

Location, Location, Location.

Lynn has no dense population in its 25mile zone of influence. When we have had large crowds it's mainly due to opposition fans or TV coverage. A "Songs of Praise" moment where the church is packed by all hoping to be shown attending.

I’m a fan of SC and what he has done for this club, but am surprised that he is mystified why the crowds are small.  There is a perfect storm of reasons for this problem.  We are in the middle of a phenomenal pandemic that has officially killed 150,000 people, but doesn’t include thousands of additional deaths in Care Homes, and the announcements are coming from mendacious zealots who care more for the economy than the “pile of bodies” continually growing.  This situation puts the more informed of the population from taking the risk our maniacal “leaders” encourage them to take.  On the club’s “pull factor”, our geographical position is actually an advantage because there are nigh on 150,000 people in a 25 mile radius of the Walks, but the teams performance for about 2 years has been very poor, and therefore unattractive.  If we improved the terracing/accommodation, beat the pandemic, acquired a competitive team, we would be one of the best supported teams in this league.  Not saying any of those three can be achieved, but they are what is needed, as calculated through humble Dillification….  HX, & HNY to all…..

The pandemic fear factor is real, particularly so for those of a certain age but it is also proven that gates will be higher supporting a successful team playing at a lower level, than a poorly performing one in a league or two above and in these difficult times cost may well also play a part?

The local player syndrome s also pertinent...When Jack was a regular that was an added attraction for some.
