New loan signing
« on: December 23, 2021, 10:47:42 AM »
The club have confirmed the signing of midfielder Theo Widdrington, subject to League and FA approval.
Theo, son of manager Tommy,  joins on a loan deal until the end of January.

Much as we need new faces, not sure another young lad (22) who has been playing at step 3 this season is what we were hoping for but wish him all the best, with defenders returning meaning Coleman can go back into midfield will we see a change in formation?

As an aside, and really sorry to say this but please can someone explain 'past tense' to the new lad doing the press releases.

Predictable signing.   Just can’t help wondering if signing a step 3 player ( on loan from a step 2 Club) is based on what’s best for Kings Lynn ?

Being the new Managers son puts the lad under greater pressure as some will put the signing down to nepotism.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

I can remember when in 1995 Steve Tyers was caretaker manager for 2 games, being slaughtered by parts of the crowd when his son was playing at that time. Daddys boy was not a nice thing to listen to.

Mark Cozens was a regular in the side when his dad John was manager in the late 80's.

I think young Setchell is out injured at the moment.
