It's never going to change they need to build stadium outside kings lynn. They could have best groundsman in UK nothing will be any different.

Be careful what you wish for.   A new stadium may be more 'outside' of King's Lynn than might be expected.

Good drainage on top of Knights hill.

The new Manager has been saying of late that pitch is not in great condition, then today we see a game called off because of rain.

We know the pitch has been an issue in the past but I thought with TH Groundcare onboard and having spent X number £K’s on the pitch in the summer this all doesn’t look good on them.

There was a lot of criticism of Steve Curtis toward the end of his tenure but with this new professional outfit onboard have things actually got worse ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Now we have lost the services of certain people, I would think there is a good chance of him returning.

That is, if he is willing.

It says on the Clubs website that TH are still Groundsman, not seen anything to suggest they are longer responsible for the pitch.  Though seeing Steve Curtis poking away with his fork does make me wonder.

IC was very critical of Curtis so now Culverhouse has gone maybe the new gaffer isn’t so worried about having a decent surface to play on and Curtis has taken care of the pitch back over?

Shambles end of.....referee, groundstaff, notts officials
A short travelling distance of two hours for the away support, possible decision
By 10.30am, weather reports of continuous rain all day....and still no proper outcome....
It may be the illustratious National league BUT it is still amateurish in its deliverance of a Sunday league decision which would have been decided quicker

This may instruct the Owner that if you do not pay the ground care team appropriately, it will end up costing and embarrassing the Club.
Don't be confused by the poser in the picture, wandering around the pitch with a fork.
Sam it should not embarress the club it should only embarress SC who on Twitter the day before allegedly put £100K into the club last week. Obviously that £100K was not enough to pay the overdue outstanding monies to the ground care company so subsequently the pitch was not prepared by them for such a massive game.
No pitch, no game, no team required, no club. Someone seriously needs to get their priorities right.

On the County forum it seems the Magpies Management were the driving force behind this game being pulled.  Can’t think SC is going to be happy with this lose of revenue and having to refund monies.

On the same forum it also stated that we hadn’t paid the Groundsmen for 4 months. How do these people know this stuff ?
Common knowledge Mallard as it should be with people taking the pee and not getting their priorities right regarding payment of overdue monies.

No idea why he would want to shout about that, as to me it would mean all the loan money has gone already.  :dontknow:

Solely his Company and following the same business model as before. It’s what he’s done in the past and the way he’s always wanted it.

It appears nobody else is prepared to put money into it (and why should they), so it looks as if he’ll have to continue with more of the same  :dontknow:

If SC has burned through the £500k loan money  and now it’s being suggested he’s had to dip in his pocket to stick in another £100k.  Plus with gates falling off the edge of a cliff, it just totally begs the question where the hell do we go as a club from here ?

Maybe the people who have been enjoying the ride, and massaged his ego the last few years will dig deep and help him out. After all it is the  season of goodwill to all men.

I think they have either headed for the hills or at very least are keeping a very low profile at the moment.

Marcus, just because we have 'enjoyed the ride' doesn't mean we support either the ownership model or the way the club is run.  I wish the club was owned / run in a completely different way but that hasn't stopped me enjoying the football that IC's teams produced at step 2 & 3 and given that the alternative was doing something other than football on a Saturday afternoon (an option I took more often than not during the Chapman years) I am glad I took the decision to be at the Walks pre-COVID.

I think the only hope for football is that the Crouch report is the beginning of the necessary changes, but that is a different thread
