Commercial Dept
« on: January 06, 2022, 06:13:18 PM »
Have we still to appoint a local guy to take over from Mark Hearle ?   Also how is the guy who had Man City connections doing in terms of the blue sky thinking and looking at the bigger picture by bringing in corporate Sponsorship deals etc ?

All gone very quiet on both fronts

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

I heard he left the position after 4 weeks. No idea what amount of business he managed to bring in. :dontknow:

What an absolute disaster, one after another. Does the chairman ever read all his build up talk of who is coming in and what they are going to achieve etc etc. Does he ever announce when these people then leg it after hardly being in the job 5 minutes?
KLTFC need a 2022 version of John Fincham and his amazing achievements year after year and in my time the most successful Commercial manager. What or who that man did not know was not worth knowing.
At that time also a management committee, massively successful clubshop (without the online help available nowadays), huge Supporters Club, regular clubroom functions, Christmas supporters lunch, 100 Club, Bonus Ball, away travel to virtually every game, end of season functions over a 3 day weekend. Etc, Etc.
What we have at this immediate time is pathetic.

All at a time when we were playing at a lower level. I think it all started to go down hill when they disbanded the management committee (which was made up of supporters). Since then, it’s never really been the same.

I was on that Management Committee and there were representatives from every area of the Club. We met regularly and we made practical decisions for the smooth running of the Club.

We made the mistake of calling ourselves the ' nuts and bolts team' IE we held every thing together.

The powers that be at the time did not like that one little bit. How dare we steal their glory!

Rings a bell, hey.

My comments are facts and the truth. You tell me one word that is an untruth. I will donate £100 to a charity of your choice if you can prove that one word of my alleged pathetic post is wrong.
Also because it is the truth i also am not frightened to post under my actual name.
Perfectly grown up and moved on.
