Tommy must be the caring sort.   Looking after his friends and family first.  Then who was it who rubber stamped those who have joined ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Agreed Loopy. Reminds me in a way of John Gidman, who had all the charm, banter and one liners and look how that ended!!

As a matter of interest what was Simon Clark’s record as Manager at the Club ?   I recall he was sacked after drawing with lower League opposition in a Cup tie. Hmmmmm

We've got no Backie and Fryatt to fall back on this time. They won the replay very easily if memory serves me well.

Don't think they had any problems finding us a certain striker either.

Did it end? I seem to recall an ongoing dispute for some time afterwards Gidman claiming he was sacked and Dollimore claiming he resigned. Gidman adamant he was still owed thousands by Lynn. Never a dull moment with those two involved.

The cup game was at home to Histon, we got a last minute equaliser. We won the replay at Histon 8-0, it was 6-0 at half time.

It doesn’t have to be an old-fashioned Number 9.  Two regular scoring midfielders may be better.  But, yes, it’s obvious we need people who can score.  Such a simple game.  Managers get blinkered by cliches ( “ character, strength, etc).  A couple of decent attacking midfielders who can score goals, please !!

Man City seem to do ok without an old fashioned number 9?

Who needs a striker when you have all that quality going forward and never let the opposition have the ball for very long ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?
