Coleman departs
« on: January 24, 2022, 04:23:22 PM »
The club has announced the departure of midfielder Ethan Coleman who has joined League Two side Leyton Orient on a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Having joined Lynn on loan from  Brackley Town in March 2021 his move became permanent in May 2021 with a two-year deal.
His two spells at The Walks saw him make a total of 33 appearances scoring twice.

Good piece of business.  No doubt he went for a decent 6 figure fee.  One eye on next season and getting some warchest money in ready to to compete back at step 2.    Now to move a few more out and get them off the payroll.

Any thoughts on who ?

I think the Club owe IC and Backie a big thank you as they were the ones who spotted the talent and brought Coleman to the Club.  Also think one of them was involved in brokering the deal with Cleeve.

That’s Carey, Mitchell and now Coleman that have swelled the Clubs coffers with transfer fees, thanks to those two.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Gysai, Linton, Fernadez would be my guess

What makes you think that?

Out of interest how many loan players can we have ??
I’ll add Bird to your list
And with all those of the payroll extend Golds contract to 2025 and build next season around him  :mystic: :laughcry:

People turning to Gold as a safe haven, as they usually do during a crisis.   :rain:

Scoring goals for fun at Kettering so IC can’t Be happy.   I did wonder if he would be coming our way with the having a decent payout on Coleman and Gyasi’s wages being saved.

Then again maybe not
