King's Lynn Town FC v Weymouth Town
« on: January 31, 2022, 04:37:58 PM »
A real "6 pointer" this Saturday.

To keep any chance of a "Great Escape" alive, we needs to beat Weymouth with a decent performance by all the players.

I hope Connor Kurran-Browne gets a start alongside Joss Barrett and Ken Charles.

Be interesting to see how many will go along to watch this one.

Surely if Tommy doesn’t get 3 points from this one then where does he go from there ?

3-1 home win for me
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Would take a 1-0 win. We haven't scored 3 goals in a game for over four months and we can't keep a clean sheet, so I will go for a 2-1 win.
Barrett and Charles to start if fit.

After going to see them at Boreham last week, I reckon and hope Weymouth will beat us 2-0 and Tommy will be out by Saturday night. The guy is an idiot, talks the talks and that's it,

Do we really need another Manager to pay off ?  Getting a bit of habit.

Who would do any better with what he's got to work with and the very obvious limited funds he's had available to spend?  :dontknow:

And who would you replace him with at this time of the season.  Lynn's not very attractive for anyone at the moment. Lets see what happens at our next few home games!

Whoever was in charge wouldn’t dig the club out of this hole.   Sticking with IC would have made more sense.  Then let him rebuild to go again at step 2 next season.

Or was it powers above not letting cully do his job ???
Wasn’t no secret  about the interference , or was it he gave him the funds at the start but cully didn’t excel in some signings !!
Little bit of me thinks after the last few games of his reign  perhaps it was player power got him in the position to leave ..

The first line above may be relevant.

Last season with players furloughed so could not continue to develop the team.
The Owner picking his own ineffectual trialists to upset pre-season. The Owner directly signing players to speculate... Yet IC players have yielded a good return when sold on (has that money been reinvested in the side?)

Good luck Tommy!
