Linnets lose at home.
« on: February 12, 2022, 05:03:53 PM »
With us  losing today, Weymouth gaining a point at home against Chesterfield, and Wealdstone gaining 3 points with an away win, is that it as far as our NPL status goes, or is the fat lady still waiting to sing?  :dontknow:

Well that’s messed the plan up.   Will SC wait until the end of Feb to plan next season or can he action it now ?

Great Escape ?  Think the tunnel has come up short.  All I can see is Steve McQueen caught up in the barbed wire

Bit to soon to knock Tommy IMO but I agree we have a mountain to climb

A much fairer test for Tommy is what he is capable of doing next season, not this one. Appointment was too late for him to have much of an impact this season.

Tommy has brought in 8 players since joining but are they really any better than what we had under IC.?

Does that prove that the Club has been under severe budget restraints since the end of last season? :dontknow:

Maybe as the relationship between IC and SC was ‘strained’ SC didn’t fancy giving Cully more money.  Things maybe different with TW.  For sure he talks a better game than IC.

I see Kettering won again today and are sitting in a play off position.

Picture this scenario.....1-0 down nothing going right.....
Serious lack of ball management and lack of goal threat....
THEN we bring on.........gold otomayo.......
           Game over I'm off........

So what have the savings through furlough, the £500,000 loan, FA Cup money and transfer deal income been used for?
