The relegation Battle

We were not the only ones in the relegation zone to suffer a postponed game last night.

Wealdstone v Maidenhead was also postponed (as was Dover v County).

Elsewhere, Weymouth took the opportunity to put a little bit of daylight between us and them, when they came out winners against Eastleigh.

Best result of the night for us would appear to be Altrincham losing at Boreham Wood. They have played more games than all the other Clubs battling relegation (3 more than Lynn), but are currently 15 points ahead of us.


We now move on to Saturday when Bromley will be the visitors.

Bromley got beat at home last evening.  Seem to recall we only lost by the odd goal at Bromley.  So no reason why we shouldn't get something against them at home.

I have to say I am no longer really looking at what the others are doing in terms of what it means for 'us', maybe more relevant is hoping that Brackley, Kettering and Boston don't go up so as to reduce our travelling next year

Dover, Lynn plus AN Other to go down. Who goes down with the biggest debt. Not Dover me thinks. Wise move of their Chairman  to do what he did quite a while ago. Same outcome for them and us in the end.

Dover’s chairman decided that the longterm future of their club was more important than trying to limp on in a relegation less season. Then decided not to over invest in this years team who seemed guaranteed to be relegated, in order to prepare for the 22/23 season in the NLS.

Ours took on a 500k loan, that the club can’t afford.

Is he not getting the service? Is he not getting into good positions? Has he been more of a target for. Knockdowns? Or is he simply not good enough?

IMHO not good enough, always seems a bit lethargic,is that just his way or is he just lazy? Don't think many will be chasing his signature come the end of the season?
