Nothing on the official club site, although I appreciate that isn't always the quickest to report things as the 'insider' grapevine seems much quicker to report news, especially where that news is negative.  Some on Facebook saying Clunan was with the squad last night, although that then begs the question as to why he didn't feature in the lineup, given his form this year, particularly compared with his teammates, he is the closest thing to a nailed on starter we have at the club but then again TW didn't see it that way at the weekend.

Its likely not surprising if this is true
I do not know Michael Clunan but as Mallard referred to he is in the world of accountancy
I believe he is at manager level with a large firm in King St
If you put yourselves in his shoes , he is likely to have  a pay cut at some point from the club when we go down
We may not be full time I realise but he would be far better off pursuing a long career in his chosen job
which will be much more lucrative than football.
How he has managed to combine the two in  this last year is incredible and showing good form too Well done
Apologies Mr Clunan if that is wide of the mark but I didn't attribute it to you but asked what we would do in those circumstances
Thank you

If true it is a sad day, but actually most of last year on here he was deemed not good enough by many of you. If he has an alternate life and football is not the bread winner then for sure playing at a level where he is amongst some good mates from the previous days sounds a sensible option. The uncertainty at Lynn, and being surrounded by "just passing through" players and coaches must be fairly grim for someone used to the previous unity. Final point whilst most already discuss "North or South" for next year, where will Lynn go if administration kicks in? Which level would come from this?.

If it kicks in after the League's AGM it would be 2 steps from that level?

Good post Realist.   A two level drop would take us back to the level we were at when SC bought the Club.

Was it an enjoyable ride.  Has to be a big yes

Really Mallard? A big yes? Please explain what iota of good has come out of this tenure apart for the glory on someone's checkered CV.

From a personal point of view the Football I saw played by IC’s teams at step 3 and then step 2 was the best I’ve seen at Lynn ( and away).   Off the Field was a mess.  That’s a given.

Two great seasons football wise.  You disagree with that side of things Chilly ?

What’s the point of an enjoyable ride if, as someone has suggested, the destination turns out to be Administration?
