Many of us will have memories of seeing Malcolm play and scoring so many goals for Lynn. Also, catching up with him watching local football in more recent times.
Personally, I will always remember having the good fortune of playing in the same team as Malcolm in a pre-season 'friendly' game, some time after he had retired from playing professionally. I was in goal and during the pre-match kick about, Malcolm shot from 20 yards out....and I will never forget the pace at which the ball passed my shoulder before I could raise my hands.
"Ya s'posed ta catch those" was Malcolm's unforgettable advice.
Thoughts are with Malcolm's family and friends at this time

If permitted by the league, front cover of the next home program please Mr Cleeve.
I would suggest you order a few extra.

Remember watching Malcolm for many years, one of the best if not the best goal scoring machine I have personally seen in a KING’S LYNN shirt. Condolences to his family.

Malcolm played with a fierce determination against the many rugged defenders of the day, and wasn’t afraid to mix it. A penalty-box predator who formed a prolific spearhead with Brian Jenkins in the days when the Southern League Prem Div was generally regarded as the unofficial fifth division of the Football League. I remember he left Lynn to join Cambridge United when they were first elected to the old Fourth Div.

R.I.P true legend.
You will never be forgotten by those that saw you grace a football pitch or serve us at the bars in retirement from football.
Great that his family got him to see Newcastle United recently despite his failing health.
Always had time for a chat and i will never forget playing in the same team as Malcolm for the KL Speedway team against the DJ's in a charity game on the Walks.

We will produce a fitting tribute to Malcolm Lindsay in our next home programme against Stockport - if you have any photos, interesting stories, ephemera etc relating to Malcolm and his career could you send to mark@kltown.co.uk Thanks
From Stephen Cleeve
Well done Mr Chairman
