... the taking of a constructive, collaborative approach an absolute imperative.

In the same way that TW talks about commitment and effort being a 'given', I would have said the above was the bare minimum for a new owner coming into a club.  Unfortunately so often that isn't the case, indeed Buster was no better on this front, maybe if the recommendations of the Crouch report do get passed into legislation and the PL funds are distributed, at least in part, based on Fair Game's Sustainability Index then these sort of behaviours would be rewarded.

Also a lot to do with common sense and self awareness....or lack of!

Not to mention the over inflated prices being quoted.  The admission charges were the most visible but figures on sponsorship did little to encourage Companies to climb onboard.  I seem to think one of SC’s companies have been involved in Sponsorship for a few years.  What is the point in that ?
Simple because no one else will pay the substantial amount of money that he demands. No sponsors so his joke of a company then fills that space for free.
Latest told yesterday is £20k stand naming rights.

Is it due to be paid in Roubles?

I thought the Stand was already sponsored to the tune of 25k by someone that wished to remain anonymous.

As long as the Limited Company knows, and keep a record of who the sponsor is, I suppose that's ok. Directors and Managers have to be very vigilant these days, especially with what's happening in Europe and also with what's been happening at Chelski (and who knows where else).

First they fascinate the fools, then they attempt to gag the intelligent.
