Great result.  We are obviously much more competitive in this period than we have been since getting to this level.  Still think Gyasi should have been a fixture for us, and hope we get him back and play him regularly.  Can we do it …. We can…. But , realistically ??!  Another win and it could start to get interesting !

For what it's worth, Aldershot have lost their last 5 and only managed to score once

Very good win today, just heard TW on the radio and think he got it right in his assessment, we had a lot of players who had good games and they had a few who had an off day but good to see us take advantage which hasn't necessarily been the case in many games this (or last) season.  I have been critical of both Omotayo and Barrett this season but both had better games today and made the jittery Halifax backline pay.  Difficult to pick a MotM but Sundire had his best game in a Lynn shirt and both Barrows and Denton had very good games but really the win came from everyone doing their bit

Really excellent win today. Pity it was only in front of a paltry 900+ crowd.

Correct on both points.

I really didn't expect the win or the gate fail to break a thousand. Well done to Tommy and his boys

Can't believe earlier today this would have been a concern one way or the other but I now have to ask the question - presumably Gyasi can't play against us next week?

Yes, it's been a strange day!

No  gyasi can’t play against us ..
can’t help but to dream of an exciting end to the season (lynn fans on the pitch v Wealdstone after securing survival) but they’ve set the standard now … we got a good draw and performance v Grimsby only to follow it up with poor defeat , let’s not make Dover a banana skin …  :scarf: :bus:

I am afraid we won't know after the Wealdstone game Bluboy as the last round of matches is 15th May and it happens to be the week we are the 23rd team so we don't play that week and the other 22 do

According to the Halifax manager our first goal was offside and the second a foul. A case of sour grapes or just that their visit yesterday wasn't very fruitful!  for them.
A stunning performance yesterday from the Linnets. A very enjoyable afternoon.

I suppose the manager has to defend the result.  Not what he expected I'm sure. On the day the linnets were the better team
